I am passionate about connecting with others and sharing thoughts and information on what matters. It is about focusing on what could possibly make a difference and taking action, from the simplest of things and beyond.
I have conquered many challenges and continue to fight in this boxing ring of life for myself, those I care about and the community.
I am a single parent. I am a poet, an author, a giver, a social entrepreneur and a student. I have worked in higher education for over 14 years. I also have several years of experience in the non-profit realm, including a domestic violence shelter.
I enjoy music, dance, creating gift baskets, jewelry making...anything artistic; reading writing, conducting research, traveling, volunteering, building relationships and connecting other people and small businesses, learning new things, sharing experience and knowledge, training and conducting workshops, motivating others coordinating artistic and empowerment events and leading where I am.
